3. 80G tax receipts

• Donations to Sumitra Trust may be eligible for tax benefits under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act, 1961.
• To issue an 80G receipt, we need your correct full name, postal address, and PAN number when you donate.
• If tax authorities deny a benefit because of incorrect or missing information you provided, the Trust cannot be held responsible.

4. Refunds and cancellations

• Because donations support charitable work immediately, they are normally non-refundable.
• If a duplicate or erroneous payment happens due to a technical error, please contact us at [email protected] within 3 days. We will review the case and may refund duplicate transactions; processing can take 7–14 working days.

5. Intellectual property

All website content — text, logos, photos, and other materials — belong to Sumitra Trust. Please get written permission from us before using these materials commercially.

6. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Patna, Bihar.

3. Payment Processing and Security

• No Card Data Stored: We do not collect, view, or store your credit/debit card numbers, net banking pins, or UPI credentials on our servers.
• All financial transactions are processed securely through Razorpay, an RBI-compliant third-party payment gateway. Your data safety during payment is governed by Razorpay's security standards and privacy policies.

4. Sharing of Information

• We will never sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes.
• We only disclose your information to authorized government authorities (such as the Income Tax Department) as strictly mandated by Indian law for charitable organizations.

5. Data Retention

We retain your personal and donation records only for as long as necessary to comply with our statutory, accounting, and tax auditing requirements under Indian law.
